What does yoga mean to you?

Yoga, to me, is more than stretches and poses—it’s a moment of coming home. Rooted in the Sanskrit yuj, meaning “to yoke” or unite, it bridges my body, breath, and mind. On the mat, I find a space to slow down, notice my edges, and accept my imperfect, evolving self It guides me toward calm amidst chaos, clarity within confusion. Off the mat, yoga’s lessons—to pause, to connect, to breathe—infuse my day: a quiet anchor in a noisy world. That, to me, is the heart of yoga.
